Golden Myanmar ( 2 Days – 1 Nights )
YANGON – KYAIKHTIYO - YANGON
Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) Pagoda Located about 160 km from Yangon,
Kyaikhtiyo is the largest domestic tourism centre. It stands on
precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 3615 feet above
sealevel. There are many legends about the pagoda and Nat (Spirit
Gods) shrines along the way from the base camp to the pagoda.
There is also apopular belief that a person gains in wealth every
time he climbs the hill. It is a test of one’s endurance and is
very exhilarating once a person has reached the summit. Kyaikhto
Hotel located on the hill side is the full view of the pagoda. The
season of pilgrimage is from October to May. Our coach has to stop
at Kinpun Base camp. From there we have to usr an open truck which
is normally used for hilly track up to the hermit “Yathae Hill” .
On arrival at the hermit “Yathae Hill”, they will have to treck
about one hour up hill. It can also reach by trekking from the
base camp. Porters and palanquins are available to carry luggage
and pilgrims who are too old or weak.
Itinerary
Day 1 Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock)
After Breakfast, proceed by coach to Kyaikhtiyo ( the Golden Rock
) about 160 km from Yangon , stands oan a gilded boulder
precariously perched on the edge of a hill. Lunch and dinner at
outside local restaurants and overnight at Kyaikhto Hotel.
Day 2 Kyaikhtiyo ( Golden Rock ) - Bago – Yangon
After breakfast, return by coach to Yangon. Before proceed on to
Yangon sightseeing at Bago, the ancient Mon Capital, 80 Kilometers
northeast of Yangon. Sightseeing tour highlights include
Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar,
Shwethalyaung, the world’s most beautiful Reclining Buddha; Wood
curving industry and Kyaikpun Pagoda. Lunch at outside local
restaurant in Bago. On the way back to Yangon transfer to Hotel.

Day-1 Yangon (Arrival)
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, our
representative would welcome and transfer to hotel. After
check-in at the hotel, have lunch at Chinese restaurant. In the
evening, visit to the most magnificent and massive Shwedagon
Pagoda, the world famous Buddhist religious monument. Dinner at
restaurant and overnight stay at hotel.
Day-2 Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo
After early breakfast at the hotel, full day seat in coach
excursion to an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom, Bago (the
Hansawaddy Dynasty). On the way, observe the World War Two
Cemetery at Htaukkyant. Proceed to Kyaikpun the four sided huge
Buddha images. Continue to Shwemawdaw, Shwethalyaung (a huge
reclining Buddha image). After lunch at local restaurant,
sightseeing continues to Bago market where Myanmar traditional
cheroot industry is. Observe the Buddhism ways of living in Bago
and environ.
Tour proceeds to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock. Upon arrival at
base camp by truck, transfer to the hotel on the mountain
summit. Overnight stay at Kyaikhtiyo.
Day-3 Kyaikhtiyo - Pha An
After breakfast at the hotel, tour proceed to Pha An, the
capital city of Kayin State. There, you could observe minority
ethnic group of Myanmar and their ways of living such as Sakaw
Kayin and Poe Kayin. Moreover Geba, Gekho and Bwe are living in
their unique culture, belief and customary. The State mark -
Zwegabin Mountain slab is offering a picturesque view. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day-4 Pha An - Mawlamying
In the pleasant morning, shopping and study at the Pha An
market. Tour continues a capital city to another. That is
Mawlamyaing, the capital city of Mon State. Sightseeing would
proceed to Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, Uzzena Pagoda, Kawguan and Payon
Caves where Mons' religious places. Overnight stay at the hotel
located on the bank of Thanlwin River (one of the longest river
of Myanmar).
Day-5 Mawlamying - Thanphyuzayat - Mawlamying
After early breakfast at the hotel, tour starts to
Thanphyuzayat which is 34 kilometers far away from Mawlamying.
There is an Allined War Memorial Cemetry for POW (prisoners of
the war) who lost their lives in the famous Death Railway. Drive
back to Mawlamyaing and overnight.
Day-6 Mawlamying - Yangon
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Yangon for 97 miles.
On the way, there will be many photo stops upon your needs. The
green paddy field, farm works and there might be seen the
buffalo boys. Overnight stay in Yangon.
Day-7 Yangon (Departure)
After breakfast at the hotel, shopping to Bogyoke Market
(formerly known as Scott Market). Transfer to Yangon
International Airport for onward departure flight to conclude
your exclusive travel experience.
